Forks is located on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula, close to Olympic National Park’s Pacific Ocean beaches and the Hoh River Rain Forest. We are the largest city between Port Angeles and Aberdeen on Highway 101 and the only major center of commerce between them.

The City of Forks is seeking letters from people interested in serving in a vacant position on the Quillayute Airport Advisory Committee.  The open position is designated for a currently licensed pilot.

Interested parties should address their letters to Mayor, City of Forks, 500 East Division Street, Forks, Washington 98331.  The letter should indicate interest in serving on the committee, brief biographical information, address, phone number, e-mail address (if applicable), documentation of current licensed pilot status and anything else applicant feels is relevant.

The applicants will be reviewed by the Quillayute Airport Advisory Committee and submitted to the mayor for final selection.
