The Forks Park Board is responsible, primarily, for planning and development of facilities at Tillicum Park. In addition, the board may direct planning efforts on other city-owned properties such as the "Triangle", Ford Park Community Park, Calawah Boat Launch.
The board may have up to seven members (its current number is four). Terms are for two years, and appointments are made by the mayor and city council.
Current board members are:
Dan Kousbaugh, Diane Gaydeski, Dave Cole, and Bruce Guckenberg.

Nedra Reed: Chairperson
The Forks Economic Development Steering Committee is an advisory committee to the Forks City Council on economic development matters. It consists of seven members appointed by the mayor and city council. It is responsible for developing and implementing an economic development work plan.
Current Committee Members:
Dan Leinan, Bill Peach, Nedra Reed, Marcia Bingham, Ed Murphy, Katie Krueger and Tim Fletcher.
Pat Soderlind: Event Coordinator
The Event Committee is an advisory committee to the City Event Coordinator, the Mayor and/or the City Council. The committee consist of nine members appointed by the Mayor. A The responsibilities of the committee are to provide advice and assistance as the need arises regarding the developing, marketing, implementing and assessing of new events to the Coordinator, Mayor and City Council.Current Committee Members:

Forks Planning Commission meetings are held in the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. The commission consists of five members appointed by the mayor and the city council.
Current Commission Members:
Richard Miller, Warren Brown, Kris Northcut, Gerald Ballard and Cathy Baker.
Committee Vacancy - there are currently 4 vacant positions.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each Month. The Committee is an advisory committee to the City Council, created to address matters dealing with Quillayute Airport planning, development, operations, etc.
