An ordinance establishing a TIB Projects Fund

The City of Forks does hereby ordain as follows:

Section 1.  Authorization.  The Mayor and City Staff are hereby authorized

to apply for grant, negotiate contracts and further pursue any

State and Federal appropriations for the use on the TIB Street Projects, Calawah Way G-W-825(002)-1 and Spartan Avenue P-W-825(P03)-1.  Said monies are to be deposited into

the account noted below.  The City Council reserves the right

to approve all grants, contracts and appropriations applied

for by the Mayor and the Staff where such awards would  

obligate the City to specific actions.





Section 2.  Establishment of Fund, Appropriations, and Accounts.  The

Clerk/Treasurer is further authorized and required to

establish a fund known as the TIB Projects Fund, and to

create any accounts necessary for the receipt of monies for

on the Projects.  In addition, the sum of $657,000 is hereby

budgeted for 2005 to this fund for the purpose of establishing

the fund and expending any monies from therein.





Section 3.  Effective Date.  The ordinance shall take effect five days

after its publication.
